ugly sweaters

last night i went to an ugly sweater party thrown by a girl from work and her roommates.

i don't really own ugly sweaters but i did have a very small (boy medium) sweater that i thought i could use. while i was at work yesterday afternoon (while it was slow) i took some cookie frosting and sprinkles we had left over from a holiday party and decorated my sweater.

I'm waiting for tiger eyes to get to his house so I decided this would be a good time to blog. I'm doing it from my new iPhone that gurl gave me as an early holiday present. Typing on it definitely gets easier the more you use it ... Apple even says that once you "begin to trust" your iPhone you can use two hands to type. I don't quite know how that works ... I'm still having one index finger do all the work which is kind of tiring.

But I do trust my iPhone.

Monday morning tiger eyes told me that someone wrote about his store in a recent blog (he couldn't remember which one) and that after the post he had a run on woo young mi items.

I fucking wrote about both his store AND woo young mi and did anyone rush to his store to buy anything? I don't think so ...

Sad.

last week was the most out i've been in a real long time. it ended with me sleeping on my office floor monday morning in the early am. i'm not proud but i'm honest - i blacked out again for a bit while at hiro. what i do remember is kissing a cute boy from columbia and speaking a bunch of spanish.

i made it out of there with my coat, credit card, and some dignit. i was supposed to stay the night at tiger eye's apt in chelsea but of course he went running home as soon as he was drunk and didn't answer his buzzer. so i walked up to my office in midtown in the rain. it was not a pretty picture.

if you're in nyc you should swing by behaviour (19th street bet 7th and 8th ave). so many delicious fashion items - including things by wooyoungmi and paul and joe.

have a good thanksgiving if you celebrate it.

hotel fun

last night i met a guy at a work function and ended up in a random conference room at the w hotel enjoying some sexy-time with him. so fun. but and who needs to rent a room when you can jump into empty conference rooms ...

update: my skinny jeans are fitting very well. i love them!

thin/skinny

most people look at me and see a slim man. all my adult life i’ve been between a 28” and 30” waist (spending most of my time at 29/30) and since i’ve pretty much always thought of myself as thin, i’ve always considered a 30” waist thin.

but recently i’ve been trying on pants, usually 29s, but none of them fit quite right. I’ve been forced to go smaller which means a am skinny now even though I’ve been trying desperately to grow an ass!

and the problem with the 28” waist is that the rest of the leg gets smaller too. what many don't realize is that i have abnormally large calf muscles for someone my size. everyone says, “oh i’d kill for those calves …” or “you’re so lucky, you have to be born with those.” those people don’t understand the challenge of a large calf muscle on a thin man. up until a couple years ago, my thighs were either as big as or slightly smaller than my calves which makes buying pants a challenge. so now no matter what pants i try on, since they’re 28s, I need to always adjust and re-adjust the parts that cover my calves because they’re just so fucking tight.

last night i bought my first pair of excessively tight jeans (meaning they fit snugly around my ass and all other muscles). they are a cute pair of dark blue paul and joe jeans which i’m breaking in right now as i type.

halloween

i love halloween.

the costumes, the parties, the boys. it's always a very fun time.

this year i dressed up with a group of friends and we went out sat and wed nights as the u.s. national double dutch team. some folks said the “gay” u.s. national double dutch team, but really do we need to say gay?

wed was great. we went into the side streets from the parade and drew quite a crowd. people didn’t want us to go. but i wanted drinks and so we made our rounds at the bars and somewhere around 2am i met a “dr.” and went to harlem.
the costume was not as cute the next morning on the subway ...
