a decade of men
i recently realized that i've been touching men sexually for a decade. i had my first experience with a guy in late april 1997 and since then i've been pretty much guy-on-guy exclusively except for a couple very drunk nights with some girls when i was in college.
to commemorate this occasion i'm making a list of all the men i've touched - that's lips to penis. i've had similar lists in the past ... guys i've slept with, how many different nationals (marked by passports not ethnicity) have i hooked up with - and i think the last time i counted i was well over 20 ... but i've never made a complete list of all the men i've touched.
it's just as hard as you might expect, so if i can't remember a guys name or if i never knew it in the first place i'm just writing down the place it happened and giving that person a number (i.e. nyc1, boston1, korea1, korea2, nyc2, etc). i think my list is fairly accurate +/- 3 guys per year.
it's kind of nice remembering some of these guys. most of them i haven't thought about for a very long time. and so far, except for maybe 2 or 4 of them, i'm pretty ok with who's on the list. i will post the list for all to read as soon as i get through october 2007.
my hope is that (1) it becomes a living list and keeps growing - at a reasonable rate - and (2) that other gays start doing the same.
re: shoes on feet -- i didn't buy any new shoes last weekend.

i drafted up my list when I first moved to nyc a few years ago ... tho its about 6 months out of date now. I used a similar method as you do... (e.g., barcelona1, barcelona 2a, barcelona 2b, barcelona 2c - same # meaning same day)... but sometimes that system broke down and I resorted to more descriptive means (e.g., muscle guy with big door mirror, engineer bottom that we all shared)
i wonder why ... you probably never got a name other than "hung8mirror" from his post.
